It's been a loooong time coming, but here we go on the next round of work on PointlessGames.com. I'm figuring it is around version 3.0, but maybe more like 6.0 or something if you count some of the really early work back around 1999-2003 or so. Whatever it's called, I'm stoked to get things using a MUCH better (read: easier to work with) system in the back end. This should help me across several sites to make updates and add features.

So... a couple notes as of today:

Scores are not yet working in the games that have been moved over. This will remain a work in progress on this new site system, but I figure having games to play is more important than having high scores... I know scoring rocks though, so that will come soon. Content from the old Pointless Games site -- including games, articles, forum posts and comments -- will all be converted over time, with my ideas of the "most important" stuff being converted first, followed by the rest. I may actually just tank some of it if it's not something we need anymore. There's a lot of history here that I want preserved, so I hope to get most of it pulled in, for archival purposes if nothing else. This is still a work in progress, so hopefully anything broken will be fixed soon. Please have some patience and drop me a note if you have requests or praise (especially praise... I need motivation to keep working hard on this stuff, eh?!)

Heya. Just a quick note to say I'm working on bringing a few of the sites that will become something of a "Bragfile Network" of sorts. Thus, the updates won't be as obvious here on Bragfile.com, but other sites who share the same user database (and other goodies) will be coming online over the next days/week-ish. It's a lot of work, so bear with me and I'll keep you informed. Also, of course, I still haven't really explained what's going on and what to expect --that will come soon.

I'll come back here and post an update as things come around.

Welcome! Bragfile.com is something that will just need to be explained better soon. For now, just take a gander at the site's slogan and mission statement (up at the top there^^) and you might get an idea of what's going to happen. You'll have to bear with me, since all this stuff is being done by one guy for now -- me. I'm Paul Hoza. I run a lot of sites (too many, likely) and this is the culmination of a much larger, long-in-planning group of projects that should be super sweet once their fruitionified. Hopefully, I'll be able to monetize some of this stuff to the point where I can hire some help. For now, I'm a lone wolf.

Anyway, I'm too tired to keep this up tonight. I'll get back on this tomorrow and we'll see where the next couple days gets us. I'll explain more after I have more to explain.

I'm stoked that you found this place but be very mindful of the "Alpha" moniker here... this is NOT what I'd call release-ready. However, many of you will know, that's just how I roll. I put it live and tinker from there... I think it's fun and many of my visitors tend to agree -- "tend" being the key word here.

Come back! Seriously, just within days it will be more clear about what's going on.
